We also think our content is, frankly, unparalleled to the other guys. In addition to NBC and Fox content (yes, you can see “30 Rock” and “Family Guy” with us!:) Fancast also has programming from CBS, Viacom nets, and other such great offerings. And if you’re at work and can’t watch a TV show or one of the full-length movies on the site (eg. “Fever Pitch” with Drew Barrymore & Jimmy Fallon) which, like the TV offerings, are free – and are just looking for a quick celebrity fix, some fun gossip, interviews, etc. – Fancast has bio pages, photos, entertainment news, and applications like six degrees.

And I’m not just talking “promising” from my perspective as an online series creator. I’ll reserve final judgment until it launches–and keep my fingers crossed that it doesn’t just look like television on the web–but this does sound like a more interesting online endeavor than what I’d expect from an established studio or network.
