&lt;p&gt;Did they mention which LG TV&#039;s the service will be offered on?  Most of the TV&#039;s I&#039;ve seen with web widgets and stuff have all been the top 1 &amp; 2 tier of the product line.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;By going down this path they run the risk of reducing the size of their market dramatically.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It must hurt to have to sink that much in development cost to totally eliminate their one differentiating feature - the set top box.  With all of the STB manufacturers out there right now, why didn&#039;t they just partner with a few of them to get their hardware at a fraction of the cost.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Vudu, Amazon, Netflix what&#039;s the difference?  Oh yeah, Vudu doesn&#039;t stand a chance against them.&lt;/p&gt;
