Did they mention which LG TV’s the service will be offered on? Most of the TV’s I’ve seen with web widgets and stuff have all been the top 1 & 2 tier of the product line.

By going down this path they run the risk of reducing the size of their market dramatically.

It must hurt to have to sink that much in development cost to totally eliminate their one differentiating feature – the set top box. With all of the STB manufacturers out there right now, why didn’t they just partner with a few of them to get their hardware at a fraction of the cost.

Vudu, Amazon, Netflix what’s the difference? Oh yeah, Vudu doesn’t stand a chance against them.
