Verizon far as I know has a 2GB a month limit on dialup, 5GB a month EVDO service and 25GB on their DSL packages. I’ve had all of these at one point in time and they enforced all of the caps when I went over them.
Disconnecting my dialup after I continued to go over the cap doing my school work – even though I paid the extra fees (I had $190 one month for flipping dialup, 2.4 freaking kbps down and 2kbps up). I switched to EVDO, same thing. I moved to a new location and used their DSL, I went over it only once downloading after a computer hard drive wipe.

Verizon may not have caps on their FIOS for now, but it’ll be along soon enough after they’ve made back their money and sold off their old antiquated rural copper lines that are becoming non-profitable.
