He was a theater major at the University of Evansville, and he kept us entertained throughout the semester by playing acoustic guitar and singing things like a song from Twelfth Night. He also did a great job with the Band of Brothers speech from Henry V. I found out about this show when I clicked on Hulu and saw Kevin’s face on a featured ad there. I really enjoy the show and watching the characters develop, and love the first six songs. Cheers.

Dusty Wright and Richard Burns who run Culture Catch have been throwing live events to monetize their online content for a couple of years that gave me the idea of having the French Maids appear at parties to do live demos of products.

I imagine TV Shows used radio and live events to promote and monetize their content in the 50′s. There’s nothing new here it’s just new to us.

We’re regularly seeing real-life events being staged in association with Web shows and online video here in London.

KateModern had several and the latest one is this Friday June 27 for The Jonas Brothers, who have a major campaign on Bebo right now.

Bebo’s running a contest for the winner to join the band on an open-top bus ride and gig. And they’re going to stream the whole event live on video via Kyte from Nokia N95 mobiles.
