We’re a legal bittorrent film distribution project — focusing on a small range of high-quality content, which lets us get a big audience and so persuade nervous film-makers to consider setting their works free online.

So we limit ourselves to one release a month, which we then blast out to a big audience through a coalition of most of the largest torrent sites and services. That includes several of the sites you mention above (Mininova, Miro, Legit Torrents), but also big names from the wider P2P world (vuze, frostwire, limewire, The Pirate Bay, & many more).

It’s working really well; we reckon our largest release, Josh Bernhard’s The Lionshare is coming up on 300,000 downloads. This kind of reach enables us to work with filmmakers who might otherwise be nervous about giving away their creations.

ViewCave.com offers Streaming, Progressive Downloads also for free. Currently it has over 200 titles licensed, 50 or so in their site and a lot more coming. The sites are in Alpha Release.
