Pope Launches YouTube Channel
The Vatican officially launched its own YouTube channel today. Updated daily, the channel’s description says its mission is to offer “news coverage of the main activities of the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI and of relevant Vatican events.” The site offers translations in Italian, English, Spanish and German.

Ironically, the Vatican has disabled embeds on the service. So much for spreading the word of God.
The Pontiff is not alone in using YouTube to do something meaningful, to create a global dialog. Queen Rania al Abdullah of Jordan has been using YouTube to promote understanding between the Arab and Western worlds. The British Monarchy has its own channel, too. Closer to home, President Barack Obama is using YouTube to broadcast his weekly national presidential address, and more recently, both houses of Congress launched two YouTube channels in an attempt to make government more transparent.

Nancy Pelosi is an embarrassment to practicing Catholics. She met in St Anthony Catholic Church to make politicat statements against the government and was allowed to meet by ArchBishop Neidermeir.I am well aware of Bishop Neidermeir in Salt Lake City and his allowance of his staff to march in the gay parade. Pelosi is an outspoken advocate for abortion, breaking the law on immigration, and gay marriages. It is up to you to address his behavior and have him appologize to his members of his church for promoting this behavior.
