I posted this under another subject line but I thought I should paste it here too.

You should all know that the product is not performing well right now. The player is plagued with stutters, high quality video is often dropped or not avaialble, and many of the promised features have not been included. Top it off with some of the worst customer service I have ever come across and you have a very flawed service. It has not been a good year for MLB.TV subscribers.

check out the comments on the MLB.tv forum. I think the accolades are premature. It’s a buggy mess and not particularly well thought out. I tried the “free trial” but couldn’t access any of the “premium” features…so what’s the point? I also couldn’t watch the advertised Saturday games because they were unavailable……

I can't find a link to watch this game anywhere on the site... huh.

Also - I would be a 100% subscriber to this service being a big baseball fan and particularly into web video HOWEVER it blocks out my local team's games. Uh, what the heck is the point of that? I'm a Phillies fan, darn it. I don't care about no stinkin' Yankees or whatever.

Last summer I tried it out, but canceled after about a month. It was nice, but not good enough for me. I just tried them out this afternoon and well….I’ll be signing up for the season! I like this a lot better – and it plays in Firefox on Vista! I couldn’t get it to work in Firefox on Vista last year. Must’ve been a Silverlight problem.
