Podcasting is a great way to achieve time and place shifting with free, legitimate content. Just check out the top 2008 podcasts and you’ll find high quality, free ad-supported (in some cases) content from major media to protail. http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewCustomPage?name=pageiTunes2008_Podcasts. So while the for-pay downloads have been giving way to streaming, podcasting is a great alternative to check out.
