HD is nice, but as you point out, content is limited. And why buy a proprietary box when you can use your PC and rent movies anywhere you like – Netflix, Cinema Now, Movie Link, Amazon?

I’ve been watching Hulu on my HDTV. They offer 480p which looks good. What, officially, is HD?
