Goldy, can I ask... what would be the point?

Personally I dont see the difference in the 2 and I think a standard format is always better for the consumer.

I Agree with Don and, Goldy one format had to win for there to be a standard evetually Complete profiled players will be common when it goes mainstream.

How is it "about time?" The consumer lost and the incomplete profile with horrible standalone players won? Sorry... this was strong-arm marketing at its worst and the whole thing has made me sick. I have a ps3 but wiil support my hd-dvd player as long as I can... even if it means just up-converting sd dvds.
