Let’s say I have 12 shows that comprise my personal “must see tv” over course of a given year. If I can get a season pass to each for $40, that is only $40/month. Cable service + DVR (for the timeshifting convenience that download gives me) is more than $40/month. TV for download is the real deal of a-la-carte programming.
