It's no surprise that Google's blog would upgrade to meet the capabilities of competitors. I have yet to see popularity in video blogging to skyrocket, but who knows? Maybe it'll be popular next week.

Since, this new feature uploads Videos to Google Video, instead of YouTube; I'm quite unsure whether it requires prior approval and/or the Blogger's Blogspot ID is tracked for a respective video?

Moreover the interface lacks an "Embed this Video" option, which is very much essential to the Blogging community.

Nevertheless, I'm still waiting for an advancement on the Podcasting front.

Hmm, I would've thought that with their addition to YouTube allowing you to link your Google Account and your YouTube account they would have tried to do it through YouTube. I suppose this might be simpler for those without YouTube accounts.
