Friday Vid Picks: Pier Screenings Recap
If you’d still like to vicariously relive last night’s Pier Screening event we have blogs, pics, and now the videos, the reason we all gathered on a scenic, windswept San Francisco pier. Below are the six videos that were screened last night ranked according to their audience popularity as measured by our snazzy text message voting system.
A local San Franciscan favorite showing power in attendance numbers, the Break A Leg (the sitcom) crew will soon be rolling dough and video views from Metacafe.
Critical Mass rides today in many cities across the world, but after HolyLandTV judge Jackson West put it best: “Some people think the San Francisco cops can be a little rough, but that’s nothing compared to an Israeli checkpoint guard with an assault rifle.”
Winning the (male) audience over quickly the gratuitous, but always welcome, gyrating female form in a bikini, Can We Do That? lays the smack down.
Even the puppet form of Kevin Rose is a lush. Which is cool.
Talk about mise-en-scène. JetSet is beautiful.
Drama drama drama! In Spanish, too!
Look for a video player from SplashCast with all six of the finalists to be added to this post. We also hope to edit and release some footage of the event next week.

What a great time! Can’t wait for the next Pier Screening! The Break a Leg cast and crew had a great time and thanks for the positive feedback! It was cool to see our little sitcom on the big screen! – Hillary :)
Kinda funny that you are using Metacafe for your contest but putting down Israel, which is where they are located and the company was created by Israelis.
And San Fransisco doesn’t have people blowing them up in buses and coffee shops, which is why their cops don’t have checkpoints like the Israelis.
Get educated, man.
