FEWDIO’s John Crye Talks Horror
When John Crye isn’t busy with his day job as director of acquisitions and development for Newmarket Films (Memento, Donnie Darko), he and five of his movie studio executive friends make short horror films as part of a collective called FEWDIO. The group’s first film, The Easter Bunny is Eating My Candy, was a demented take on the religious holiday and kicked off a 16-part horror series FEWDIO will be releasing throughout the year.
Crye stopped by our NewTeeVee LA Meetup the other night and introduced us to FEWDIO and its plans to create nightmares.

Very cool.
Now we need to put a good microphone on the list of things we should all chip in and buy Chris.
No, that’s not a bad microphone, that’s actually how John talks. It’s the result of an old fishing accident. He doesn’t like to talk about it much.
Yeah, a better mic would only exascerbate the issue and make John more self-conscious of his Cthulhuian nightmare of a fishing trip.
Oops. I’ve said too much already…
Cthulhuian nightmare fishing trip!? sounds like another FEWDIO film in the making!
