Exclusive: 88Slide Signs with Endeavor
I just got off the phone with 88Slide executive producer Noah Bonnett who’s on his way back from the Podcast Academy V at Duke University. While 88Slide has been on hiatus since November, Noah has been working on developing his business model. “My goal is to make this the biggest little game show in the world. I want to go from giving away $10 gift certificates to a car.” He pointed to their work with Disney as a sponsor for a “Pirates of the Caribbean” themed epsiode.
To that end, Bonnett’s signed with the Endeavor Talent Agency (who also represent Amanda Congdon) where he is working with Chris Jacquemin.
He had also spoken to Creative Artists Agency and United Talent Agency, but felt that Endeavor was “the best fit for both 88Slide and for me professionally.” He explained that without a huge roster of online clients, Endeavor has the time and energy to focus on his projects. Together, they’re currently going back through the offers and opportunities that have been piling up during the hiatus.
While Noah couldn’t put an exact date on when they’ll return with new episodes, he suggested a timeframe of within two to three months. When I asked if 88Slide was still commited to online distribution, Noah assured me that the ‘microformat’ gameshow would continue to be available online, as well on mobile devices through their partnership with Amp’d Mobile and even expanding to set top boxes, presumably through cable video-on-demand services and through iTunes and AppleTV.

will the 88slide host still be around when they come back?
It’s my understanding that Rachel and Blaine will be back, but don’t hold me to that.
Way to go Noah!
Just make sure the first car you give away is an electric car or at least a Hybrid.
Yes, no more Hummers please!
Any update on when 88Slide will return? Very curious as to what Noah is up to next.
