&lt;p&gt;Tthe reason Bitttorent Inc aquired uTorrent is becuse they want a Bittorent client  embeded into devices and the uTorrent codebase has a small footprint required needed to place code on a chip &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;.Expect to see p2p in phones ,TVs ,Set top Boxes cable boxes &#8230;&lt;/p&gt;
