&lt;p&gt;Good article but I have to disagree with the point above. Have you tried getting a major cable company to install their cable cards in a Tivo? It&#039;s insanely difficult and frustrating. Check out the Tivo message boards for the topic. They all say the exact same thing that I experienced. A week or two of agony followed by the card magically working or the person returning their Tivo.&lt;/p&gt;
