RampRate twierdzi natomiast, że w obliczeniach CS są błędy związane min z złą oceną kosztów transferu danych (która według tej firmy to blisko 50 milionów dolarów) i zawyżone koszty przypadające na data center. Według RR roczny koszt utrzymania Youtube to $414 milionów dolarów. Na poniższym zestawieniu widać różnicę między obiema firmam analitycznymi i ich estymacjami odnośnie kosztów utrzymania Youtube (dla przypomnienia mówimy tutaj o ruchu na poziomie 375 milionów unikalnych użytkowników!)
