Ok…first, I don’t know how one gets “hit by a bicyclist” it’s pretty obvious when something like that is coming at you….second, common sense dictates when a mass is going on one direction like that, you don’t stand in the middle of it. The pig deserved his badge revoked. He obviously wasn’t paying attention, how the biker was charged with anything is absurd, absolutely absurd. The pig should have been charged with assualt, What reaction? He walked into him and used force to shove him off…He barely stumbled. I hate how people try to justify wrong doings. One big thing that irritated me about this shit article….Cameras DON’T LIE…..unless fitted with CGI, which these obviously weren’t.

Hopefully this PIG will have his life ruined. He gives a bad name to good cops. If this rider had clearly committed a crime up the avenue the other cop would be aware of it, or made aware of it and he would have moved in to halt the rider. The cop didn’t even raise his hand as though asking the rider to stop. He clearly assaulted the rider. In France, filming police violence is illegal.

It’s unfortunate that our society has lionized police officers as they have. They are the heros on the shows we watch from the moment we learn to speak, and it is difficult for many of us to comprehend that myth and reality are diverging at an increasing rate.

If people, such as yourself sir, continue to be apologists for the increasingly violent and illegal actions of the criminal justice system, then you too are likely find yourself at the hands of one of your heros.

That officer’s actions were clearly, premeditated, directed, and completly deliberate. It’s really time to ask yourself why you feel so compelled to be a cheerleader for the instruments of State power. If this WAS NOT caught on video – the kid would have been broght before a judge, and in the end, he would have been convicted based on the “reliable” testimony of the police officer in question.

Today, a SECRET WARRANT was used to raid a group of your fellow citizens who were preparing to protest – to make their voices heard above the corporate voice that shares the offices of most of our politicians – a simple, but oh so important act. You may not care what they have to say TODAY, but tomorrow, they may be the only source of truth available to you, and you are assisting in the process of making them disappear.

This POS thug cop should be fired and tossed in jail for this attack. He is surely a coward hiding behind his badge while abusing his authority. Nothing but a punk. Had I been the cyclist being attacked, you can damn well believe I would have defended myself from this attack. I would have knocked the god damn brakes off this punk ass pig. There are too many of these cops who think they can do what ever the hell they want; speed, run lights, whatever I for one am damn sick and tired of seeing it. Long live "Jimmy Justice" and I hope to see others like him pop up all over this country.

Wow, I am simply dumbfounded by your analysis of this video. That is OBVIOUSLY not an instinctive reaction. I don't mean to insult you but either you are just trying to make up and write something just to make it different from the hundreds of articles regarding this topic, or you simply just see it from a completely different view than what I would deem logical. You even disparage the cyclist based on the cop's testimony which is clearly FALSE and way off from what the video shows. So either the video was edited to block out the cop's claim of being knocked down and having lacerations, or I am grossly mistaken to think this is a prime example of police abuse.

The cop wasn't paying attention? Are you serious? This guy pauses, selects his target (Long), and then takes him down like he's tackling a running back in a football game. That is clearly obvious in this video. The cop does not at any point act as if he was caught unaware by a rogue bicyclist.
