They can be downloaded directly from HTC’s site to your phone and then run on the phone itself.

Requiring ActiveSync is a crock. I switched over to Linux a couple years ago and having to find a Windows box just to add updates to my phone is ridiculous.

Have you tried to load any of them?

Patch #1 to fix the Pink Camera defect, which fixed still images, but the defect still remains in video shot on the camera.

Patch #2 was supposed to fix the SMS delivery bug on the HTC HD2. But it seems to have been a placebo, as the bug is still there after patching.
