The server must’ve been reeally busy for you Kevin, I downloaded it in just over 3 hours today and I’m burning it now. Maybe no-one else in Britain was downloading it at the same time as me or I got my data streamlined through the quickest route to my pc :p

I just downloaded RC1 in 15 minutes here at work! I used the download mangager because I thought I would have to pause and restart a few times. Now, if I only had a registration key. hint hint;) I didn’t activate my Beta 2 but I would love to install the RC1 and see how the tablet PC stuff works.

You're correct Frank and this was so confusing that the Windows Team Vista blog published a clarification here: http://blogs.technet.com/windowsvista/archive/2006/09/06/454446.aspx Looks like CPP participants only for now with public availability in the very near future.
