What I expect to see at CES. Lighter PC's that use less power Netbooks or laptops on slim fast, improvements to the status quo. A rabbit of the hat from Google or Intel, perhaps but the story will be price and performance. New and attractive phones with Android most certainly.

Thinner and lighter Flat Panels with less power the story. The 120hz vs 240 hz hype.

Greater capacity sold state memory is a guess but a reasonable one.

e-ink readers (competition to Kindle) yes lower cost with perhaps wireless.

I expect CES 2010 to be a repeat of 2009 - lots of improved devices, few if any surprises. Hope I am wrong but my bag is packed with new sneaker.

Yeah I see this coming year to be the E-Book Readers, Android, Smartbooks, and handheld computers with 5" screen like the Archos 5, and the Dell that will be announced at CES. The more I use the A5 IT, the more advantages I have when I don't really need to get the computer out to do simple work. Boots up quickly; I always keep it on standby so its up and running in seconds. James are you and Kevin still on planning to do some video reviews live on the show floor? Remember if you need a CES Caddy let me know. :)

Yes, smartbooks are non-Intel devices with the design to have 3G integrated into the core. Having a smartphone processor and architecture means you can have instant-on, always connected long battery life like phones.
