Sigh…. I wish I hadn’t done this, but I called CDW and according to the sales staff, it’s scheduled to ship to customers in — get this — JULY. That’s a little late for an anniversary edition, if you ask me! Sorry devwild, I hope my intel is wrong and that you’re able to get it next week.

Dangit, don’t scare me like that – it’s been on cdw for days now, I’ve been checking frequently. I thought it might actually be in stock when you said that. :) I’ve been hoping to get one before my vacation time in a week.

At this point, I personally have no compelling reason to buy one. I may change my mind but I’m very happy with my Q1P running Vista. I don’t need the thumb-board as I can ink out a full URL faster. Remember that the TIP has buttons for the ‘http://', ‘www.’, ‘.com’ and ‘.net’. All I need to do today is tap those and ink the domain which is much faster for me. The higher native screen res would be nice but it’s not a must for me. Battery life is a non-issue because I have an extended battery and standard battery. I think the Q1U is a great model, but I’m happy with my current investment. Of course, if I get a review unit for a few days, I might change my mind. ;)
