I also use mine in the car, Chris. I can then listen to streaming radio on my handhelds or on Pandora on the iPhone. One advantage to using WiFi instead of 3G with Pandora on the iPhone is you get access to the higher bitrate streams, even though you are still really using a 3G connection.

I took my router to CES with me and used it on two or three devices in the hotel room, then carried it in my pocket during the show for when I needed quick net access.

It’s nicer when I’m driving and other people want to use their laptops to get online.

Like the Cradlepoint it creates a WiFi hotspot that any device can use.

BTW – You should really consider picking up a Cradlepoint portable router, then you could easily use and share your mobile broadband with an unlimited number of devices. No, I don’t work for the company, I just have two of their routers, and they are fantastic…
