The demo unit was metallic and filled with fingerprints, however, they had units with colored plastic cases as well. More thoughts in a bit via a post… must… eat… lunch…

It was running Vista, there was your first clue that it was a concept-only MID. Does it have 2GB of memory onboard or did they put in 4GB so it would run demos smoothly? :-)
