Are they going to come up with a sweet state of the art “netbook” that costs 900$? I don’t know…i wouldn’t consider taht a netbook, especially if you can buy a full fledged notebook from apple for another bill.

Really, it’d have to be less that 800$. We’ll see…I’m not really holding my breath though.

I suspect that if Apple does any type of netbook-device, it will challenge the conventional, cookie-cutter devices we see today.

Sounds more like a large screen iPhone to me. But you all have been cheering for an ARM netbook. How about a multi-core ARM iPhone with an 8″ screen? 3rd quarter would also be a nice ship point for right after WWDC. Perhaps July?
