The Advantage is sounding more and more intriguing, especially since I'm considering the switch to at&t, and could just swap the SIM card out of my phone.

I have a question about the GPS in the unit. on my at&t Moto Q I can't get it to pull a GPS signal from either Google Maps, or Live Search (ala your Blackberry issues with VZW I suspect). Have you used the Advantage with either of these services. I don't drive around enough to pay for a monthly service like TeleNav, but if I could leverage the free one I'd be all over that.

Hey james, think you could do a detailed comparison between the 2710p and the TC1100?
I used to own a TC1000, but gave it away to a friend. I need a new tablet pc, and it's currently a toss-up between a 2710p, a TX1xxx series, or rooting around somewhere for a TC1100.

I'm not James but it's a hp tc 1100. I love it because the keyboard detaches completely from it so you can just use it as a slate if you wanted to.

I am thinking of picking up an iphone this week but was undecided as to whether or not I should wait and see what comes out of macworld. I don't really need any more than the 8gb that comes with it so that wouldn't impress me and if it goes 3g I'm sure the service is gonna cost even more which I don't want either. I can survive on edge and I don't want to be paying $40-$50 a month just for the internet on my phone. Is there anything else you think I should hold out for that may be of use in the new iteration or do you think it will just be 3g with more memory? I know that it is all speculation but I'd like to hear what you thought.
