I didn’t use speech for the correction. I believe the accuracy would have been higher had I used a headset, and if I had gone through the training of the speech engine.

It’s funny but I’ve recently re-discovered the joys of inking! After owning 3 different Toshiba Porteges and a TC1000 and TC1100 in the past, I recently picked up a bargain TC1100 on ebay which was advertised as spares or repair but got it up and running again and it has a great battery (always the thing to assume will need replaced but not in this case). I’m really enjoying inking again and you are correct regarding the handwriting recognition in Windows 7. The only time I run into a problem is if I’m writing an unusual word and Windows keeps guessing something different, meaning I have to delete and start again.

Definately going to try out the voice recognition this weekend. Don’t know why I’ve not tried it before. Was given a new blackberry by my work this week and have liked being able to do the voice search on Google. Really need to get going with the voive recognition on my iPhone as it’s something I’ve never really bothered with in the past.

On the browser front, have you tried the 3.6 Firefox beta yet?
