James,

Quick comment on using the Prism add on for FireFox. I've been using Prism since its early stand alone days, and find it very useful. Even more important to me than being able to have specific web apps run in a separate instance is the ability to customize the window size and shape. For example, for Google Calendar, I use a large and wide window, as I like to look at a week view. For Google Tasks, I use a tall, narrow window. For Google Reader, I size the window at just the right width for optimal text reading. You get the picture.

When I'm in Windows or on a Linux box, I use the application feature in Chrome instead of the FireFox Prism version. Works the same, but I find it a little easier to set up.

Also, it's easy to find fun icons for these "apps" on the web, or make up your own using photos, for example. Anyway, you may find yourself with a lot of web apps over time. Nice and easy to access, especially if you use something like QuickSilver (Mac) or Launchy (Windows) or GnomeDo (Linux) to get to your favorite tools quickly.

Thanks for the excellent posts!

The storm 2 uses 4 sensors at each corner. The screen on the Storm 2 is still one giant button obviously but it is much more accurate.
The original Storm has the SurePress technology, although the screen is one giant button where the Storm 2 uses 3 sensors I believe. That's cool about dust, although I haven't noted a dust problem with the Storm.
