ATM its just a few short scans every now and then. I usually freak out and need to know the results before relaxing. So I never bring any gadget to these places. Even the so-called spelling rules are worthless since they are full of holes (I before E except after C, and except for leisure, seizure, weird…). The exception would be trying to determine the spelling of a word based on its root language, which requires a logical comparison of words from that language. The kids who figure it out from the root language are the ones who really impress me.
