akihabaranews is reporting that NTT Docomo will pair up with Toshiba to release a windows mobile phone. It will have a 1Ghz processor. This sounds like the phone you are talking about. The picture also shows “Tokyo” as one of the time. Could this be a Japan-only release. :(

I’d rather have the resistive touchscreen, anyway. With a capacitive one you can’t have: Cut and paste, a removable battery, a proper keyboard, unlimited apps, stereo bluetooth, Java support, MMS, video recording, file transfer, FM tuner, memory card slot. :)

Anyway, I notice some of the pics taken by the Electric Pig site very clearly has “Qualcomm 3G CDMA” printed on the side of the device, so now I’m REALLY hoping it comes to the US.
