As long as everything is secure. I’m very curious about how the patient info is secured. I think it’s a really great idea; I would just hate to see such a great use of mobile tech ruined due to a huge law suit. Dr Parkinson?

Funny… our pediatrician, also located in New York, has all the calendar, contacts, etc online. So any time we have a question, just log on the website and ask. If we need to reschedule an appointment, change our address, verify vaccinations, etc. Just log in and do it!

I think the trick in making your practice “techno-focussed” is plain simple: make it easy and efficient. The rewards are less administrative work and rapid access to patient files, but it asks for more “online” work.

Who needs a tablet PC when you’ve got an iPhone? My practice is centered around my macs. I wouldn’t take the risk of working with a Windows computer.
