The Mac is back, baby!
Got a call from Apple and headed over to pick up the MacBook Pro. It’s got a new hard drive and is restoring the Time Machine backup now. More later.

Congrats on getting the Pro back. I just got back my coffee-soaked Tosh R15. I loved the l’il retro tablet…and then my wife lifted that cup of java to her lips, and snagged the edge of the computer as the cup came down.
LESSON NO. 1: (the Tosh people tell me) if you have a liquid spill TURN IT OFF AND TAKE IT IN TO A TECH to take it apart and clean it thoroughly. I of course, put a hairdryer on it, and when it seemed dry, turned it on. It worked for exactly 5 minutes and then fried.
