I tried to negotiate out of it but they would not budge. I did not however pay any other fees for the phones such as shipping costs.

Even when I have a family plan w/5 lines and have been a customer since 1997! (and work for a large company who has chosen them as their “premier” carrier)

I’ve always thought that was pretty shady, since it practically penalizes long-term customers. Then again, I think subscriber contracts are horrible in the first place.
