T-Mobile: Android Home Phone and Tablet Computer Coming
I don’t know how much stock to put into this news that appeared, but since it’s the New York Times, it’s worth passing on. They got hold of some confidential documents from T-Mobile that show the carrier is pushing Android in a big way. They intend to bring to light a phone for the home and a Tablet computer, both running Android.
T-Mobile plans to sell a home phone early next year and soon after a tablet computer, both running Android, according to confidential documents obtained from one of the company’s partners. The phone will plug into a docking station and come with another device that handles data synchronization as it recharges the phone’s battery.
A T-Mobile spokesman, Peter Dobrow, declined to discuss the specifics of any future products but confirmed that T-Mobile had plans for several devices based on Android.

This is an interesting development. Maybe it was good that I started learning how to program for the Android phone while I am layed off.
