I just installed it and played with it a little. My initial impression is that, like most Microsoft power toys, it is a cool little program! (I really like their power because they usually preform a useful task without a bunch of extra junk.) As soon as I heard about this toy I thought that it would be a great way to sync One Note between a desktop and a laptop, and as soon as a get my new router (later today) I'll test it out. Right now I have just synced the my documents folder with an external HD.

The only issue that I have come up with so far is that I can't get it to schedule a sync for an individual folder pair. Hopefully I can get some help with that. Also, I hope that when they release the next version, they will include a scheduling feature in the program so you don't have to manually create a scheduled task.

Just downloaded this and am about to give it a run out. So far installation was a breeze and the interface is very clear and simple. The programme takes you through the process step-by-step and their is a relatively celar help file, although to be honest I need to read it all before I pass final judgement.

I currently use SyncBack which was free (and may still be) from 2BrightSparks. I find it simple to use when syncing my Tablet and Desktop. This powertoy could be a simple solution for school though so I will test it out and post an update later today.
