my concern with this, as i’m testing it on the tilt i’m demoing, is that when the now screen is showing, it doesn’t show you the incoming call screen all the time. MANY times, it is rining, and the now screen just stays there. I have to hit OK in order to close the now screen to see who’s calling.
Also, when a text msg comes in, it doesn’t show the preview like the today screen does. I’m running WM6.1ROM and am currently using the threaded txt that’s built into it, but without the preview on the now screen, the only way to see it is to open it, which doesn’t allow you to delete the txt, cause it’s in threaded view. have to close, then delete. not a HUGE deal, just an extra tap or two, that’s all.
Anyone else experience similar aspects?

This software is beautiful and sexy… but very unstable for me (sprint touch). It seems to cause slowness and random lock-ups.

I tried it for several days, but ended up uninstalling it (just like the previous version).

:( It doesn’t recognize I’ve Pocket Informant installed an opens the crappy built-in Outlook when tapping on an appointment displayed on the now-screen.

I used to use MobileShell back when I had a WM phone, and I specifically liked the large icons and UI elements.

While some people want to cram ever more things onto their tiny screens, I want to push things on my phone with my finger. Specifically, with the 8525, I wanted to push things with my finger and not the tiny telescoping stylus.

Testament to the iphone: Any time I see a WM device or Palm device, I start punching at the screen with my finger and trying to scroll by dragging it around…

I have been using it for two days and love it on the Advantage. The usability of the interface combined with making it easier to get to stuff makes me really like it.

Yeah, even with RealVGA loaded on the device the application defaults back to the large icons. I still REALLY like it for quick glanceable info on the Now screen and am using it quite a bit on the Advantage.

I agree that you may be able to do some of the same things with other apps, but I find this one to be just fine.

The Mobile Gadgeteer mentioned this app recently, so I decided to try it out as I also use HTC Advantage. Don’t think it really utilises the screen with all the really large icons.

Have now swapped back to Wisbar + PocketBreeze. Call me old-fashioned …
