Sony joins the giant laptop fray- Vaio A
These Asian notebook makers must know something we don’t as Sony introduced an 18.4-inch giant notebook, the Type A. Sony joins Medion in the 18.4-inch category which is obviously a desktop replacement notebook for those who have big desks. The Vaio A has a fast Core 2 Duo processor and an HD LCD running at 1920×1080 with Adobe RGB. Sony throws in a Blu-Ray burner and HDMI out connection for the full multi-media experience. No word on pricing but if you have to ask, you can’t afford it.

‘if you have to ask, you can’t afford it’
Hehe, so true for so many things!
1920×1024? Isn’t that just SHORT of HD resolution, 1920×1080? Seems like an odd choice.
Woops, 1080 it is. Brain typo now fixed.
