Sony is refreshing the Sony Reader
Engadget has discovered that Sony is set to release an update to the Sony Reader. The PRS-505 will come in either silver or blue and still cost $300. It looks like some of the buttons have been moved around but not much else is different, and Sony isn’t exactly free-flowing with information yet.

i am waiting for the “sign up with our ebook service we will give you the e-ink reader for free” kind of offer.. it is a cool device though..
I don’t quite get the advantage of a device like this that is larger than a paperbook and less durable however I am sure that until they find a way to light up the screen with some leds for night reading it will never be a sucess.
