I would have bought this for my wizard if it still worked. I loved taking the keyboard out and using it like a mid.

The Iris web browser has this functionality built in which was the sole reason I kept using it.

Why?…HTC Touch series comes with Large Title Bar. On my Sprint Diamond, I only have to use the stylus on old programs like Total Commander. Almost everything works with my thick thumb after tweaking things a bit. :P

I haven’t tried it myself, but I somehow don’t think that it’s necessarily faster to steer the cursor with the d-pad than it would be to pull out the stylus and do the old-fashioned tap-tap-tap. And maybe I am just motorically challenged, but doing it with one hand?

I just got a Samsung Omnia on Verizon and it came with this functionality built in. It is pretty handy but I quickly moved on to replacing the stock WM inteface with one more finger friendly (in my case SPB mobile shell).
