It might be useful to do a direct comparison of netbook keyboards. I know about the HP models. I had my eye on a HP Mini 1000 but they don’t seem to be doing the 8GB or 16GB SSD models on this side of the Atlantic, which is putting me off. (They’re definitely not doing them with Linux/MIE, which isn’t a problem as I can easily instal the distro of my choice — I think it’s called Ubiquitu.)

If there are alternatives to HP with equally usable keyboards, that might be the place to start.
