Samsung i760 gets Windows Mobile upgrade, YouTube support
Remember the nifty little SCH-i760 Windows Mobile phone? It’s the Samsung model with the slide-out keyboard and diagonal number pad. Turns out that Verizon Wireless and Samsung haven’t forgotten about it either: they have a firmware update that offers Windows Mobile 6.1 and additional fixes to boot.
Aside from the OS upgrade, Samsung included some Bluetooth improvements for DUN, or Dial-Up Networking. We like us some BT tethering for modem use and we’re not prejudiced: DUN or PAN keeps us happy. [OK, I admit it: I'm partial to tethering with PAN with my Mac and PCs ;)] If mobile video is your thing, you’ll be happy to see support for browsing and watching YouTube vids as well. Those are the biggies, but there’s a few more tidbits of goodness in there as well. Gear Diary has the full list of features, along with direct download links to the firmware for both XP and Vista folks that own an SCH-i760.

Can’t wait to install it on my mom’s 760. :)
No luck; Samsung pulled the update after just a day. Downloads and links were removed. No one seems to know why yet, although the folks at PDAPhoneHome have had quite a few troubles updating their phones: http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/samsung-sch-i760/113732-wm-6-1-install-problems.html
Sad. :(
