Thanks for the input KT (may i call you KT?).

I wasn't aware of the different standards in the USA but thinking about it, it is logical that there would be. According to Wikipedia, you guys in the U.S. are using the ATSC standard where as us europeans have adopted the DVB standard. To support your comment however there is a DVB-H standard designed solely for the use of handhelds (the H at the end of the standard name i think suggests just that). Unfortunatly you guy's in the U.S. aren't mentioned on the trail list which is why your DTV antennas were proberbly removed in production. It's nice to know that us portable users are getting a dedicated TV standard though :-D

JR, some UMPC models like the R2H and the Q1 do (or planned to) offer integrated DTV tuners. In fact, my Q1 has a covered cutout in the case for an antenna. Unfortunately for us here in the States, our models don't include the tuner options because of the differing DTV standards. DVB-H is what I believe the US standard will be; in Asia and Europe there are different standards and they are already in use. As a US-based indvidual, I can't easily get one of the models with an integrated tuner and even if I could, there aren't any signals for me to test with. Can any of our overseas readers comment on this?

Didn't the Asus R2 have a built in Digital TV Tuner. I think that was on the earlier spec list. Can someone put us straight on this and if so then i think a blog on the quality of it will be in order. It would also be interesting to see how the eo's compares to the Q1 (using a TV Tuner i mean). Intel have never been fantasic on intergrated graphics, but then again i've never had a great experience with Via either (I had a very bad experience with the MSI KT600 and KT800 Motherboards using Via Chipsets). However i did read somewhere that Via had gotten better and more reliable.

Any opinions on this...?
