From one Rob to another, you and your family are in my prayers.

James,

My sincerest and deepest hopes and prayers go out to Maggie, Kathi and Rob. As a parent, the thought of dealing with such issues brings out the strongest of emotions in me, and I can only begin to imagine what these times are like.

I will continue to think good thoughts in the hope that there will come a day when the Bushway family will look back on this portion of their life with only reflections and comparisons to how all things worked out in the end.

James, that really is a lovely poem.

I came across Maggie’s story a few months back by chance when I happen to come across Rob’s personal blog. I have to say it moved me in such a way that I have not stopped thinking about this amazing little girl. I always thought Rob never stop working. I never realised that he was working around caring for his ill child. What an amazing man. What an amazing family.

The story back then caused a very small email exchange between Rob and myself where I told him how amazed and inspired I was by him, his wife and especially Maggie who continues to fight endlessly against this illness. It really has made me think about my family and priorities.

Please everyone do as James has asked and post a message on Rob’s blog to offer support. He is reading them and responding to those words of support and love from us in the mobile tech community that we have all established. When we consider what Rob has offered to us all with his work at GBM whilst going through this tough time I for one think it is the least we can do.

Love to Maggie. Strength to all of the family. I’ll keep praying and hope it helps along with the prayers from everyone else.

I’ll pray for her today! Illness is always sad but when it’s a child who’s suffering it’s terrible.
