Yes – you don’t need to hold down the button, there’s even a little tripod for it so you can sit back (plus a remote control) – I think you’ve underestimated a company that has clearly put a lot of R&D in here…

@Daneil H.: I imagine taht when you pay $600, they'll throw in a toggle switch so you don't have to hold down the power button :)

I have read that some of these can project a 100 inch image in a darkened room and that's certainly large enough to present to.

What I'm excited about is the possibility to eventually have one of these built in to my UMPC or even laptop. I would love to project in my office or at home and have a smaller screen for on the run.

I've seen this sort of product before. I gotta say - the "wow" factor is cool - but you have to ask, what's the real application? The projector has to be close to the wall, because it's so small - and you probably have to hold your finger on the button to keep it on. It's definitely not for a room full of people - it's for a one-on-one presentation. But at that point, why not just use a laptop with a 15 inch screen? You could get one for less money than this projector.

Just my thoughts.
