Intel is not allowing that chip to be used in a device called a “netbook”, even though performance wise, it isn’t a whole lot better than a 230 or N280 (at least coupled with a P45 chipset).

This chipset, combined with the dual-core Atom series processor uses less than 5W total power.

I believe this new chipset will use much less power than the legacy Intel 950 chipset that are used with the current generation of netbooks.
