A year ago it was the best unit I had tried, including the Q1 Ultra. Lousey company support caused me to send the Pepper back for a refund. After being disappointed by several UMPCs I took a detour and bought a Dell D430 (I know, not a UMPC but still <3 lbs.) until such time that UMPCs get their issues worked out.

OK, Pepper is dead. Forget what that guy wrote. If *Sean* — SEAN! — had to leave Pepper for work, then it’s all over, man.

I stayed the hell away from the Pad after reading some hair-raising problems on Pepper’s support forum and then especially after realizing one blogger had been misleading people with her own Pepper experience.
