This terrific tutorial is definitely worthy of archiving for future reference, and to be honest I started reading it expecting to experience buyer's remorse over my purchase of PDANet earlier this week. Instead, the relative hassle of the process involved served only to reinforce why I chose to spend $34 for an application to handle the hassle for me, and simultaneously provide the tethering priviledge to me unbeknownst to my provider (not that I would ever do anything like that ;)

Those of us on Sprint get software on the CD with instructions for using the 6700 as a modem - all WITHOUT a $15 surcharge. Can you hear me now? ;)
