Parallels was the one app that let me move to a Mac. My work still requires Windows and I really wanted to get away from MS in my personal life.

I've been more than happy with the experience and recommend it to all that will listen.

Oddly enough when my wife got a new laptop with Vista on it (the price was too good to bypass) and needed to run some business software that would not run on Vista we first tried VMware and then Virtual PC and both had problems with different things (wireless network, shares, etc).

I finally decided to try Parallels for PC and although not as polished as the Mac version, it's been working really well. I don't feel bad about cost even when there are free versions of other vm products available.
