The Treo 800w does seem like a pretty nice device if you like that form factor. I’m more of a Mogul fan though, so I am looking forward to the HTC Touch Pro release this fall.

That said, the Palm does have decent specs, and from the reviews I’ve read most people seem to have a favorable opinion of it. If nothing else, it’s nice to see Palm out there competing with Blackberry and HTC to keep them advancing forward.

I’ve also covered this before: I enjoy what I’m doing, I took a large pay cut and I lose money every month, i.e.: blogging isn’t financially profitable at all for me. When I burn through my savings, it’s back to the job pool. I can’t comment on a company’s plans to cut IT jobs as I have no relevant first-hand knowledge.

What made you quit IT work. You said you made 6 figures. Is blogging that profitable? I was thinking about going into the it business. i have heard on the Windows weekly podcast that microsoft is going to cut alot of IT jobs by selling exchange and server as a subscription service, thereby losing alot of small business it departments. What do you think?
